URHR’s Ecosystem-Building Activities in Ontario
URHR has supported Korea Testing Laboratory (KTL) and Gyeongnam Technopark (GNTP) by helping build a practical Korea–Canada innovation ecosystem in Ontario. Through event planning, stakeholder engagement, delegation coordination, and strategic introductions, URHR connected Korean public-sector and R&D organizations with Ontario’s government, industry, research, and academic networks.
As part of this work, URHR supported engagement with key Ontario ecosystem partners, including Invest Ontario, Invest Ottawa, Ontario MEDJCT, Vector Institute, NGen, and leading universities such as the University of Toronto, Waterloo University, York University, McMaster University, and Ontario Tech University.
URHR’s role has been to move collaboration beyond a single event by creating pathways for long-term relationship-building, industry connection, market understanding, research dialogue, and future project development. These activities helped KTL and GNTP better understand Ontario’s AI, advanced manufacturing, industrial innovation, and workforce transformation ecosystem.
Through these activities, URHR helped Korean organizations identify the right partners, understand the Ontario market, explore opportunities for joint research and industry collaboration, and develop a stronger foundation for Canada–Korea innovation cooperation.
